December 18, 2009

We’ve recently been featured on the awesome FarPastPost web radio show/podcast.

Please check out the site and station and support them by downloading it, fanning them on Facebook and reading their blog.

They play a lot of cool music from bands like Pelican, Cult of Luna, Sigur Ros, Bardo Pond, and dozens and dozens of others. Very cool way to discover new bands in this genre.

BelmarFest & BBQ This Sunday

August 6, 2009

This Sunday, Swath and 10 other bands will be playing the BelmarFest and BBQ at (not surprisingly) the Belmar bar located at 95 Main Street in Binghamton.

Check out the flyer below for details on the bands and other stuff.

The show will be held outside with lots o’ BBQ and lots o’ beer – so that should mean it’ll be lots o’ fun.

Swath should be playing in the 6 PM range.

Also, Kevin’s other band, Dance-A-Tron, will be making its debut with new guitar player – and Binghamton legend – Mike Escott. And we have insider info that they’ll be playing a surprising cover tune. They are slated to play around 4 PM.

T-Shirts Are Coming

April 8, 2009

We spent some time on Sunday working up t-shirt designs since the income from selling CDs has us in a position to get them made up. Finally. (we’ve been talking about it for years)

It will probably a couple months before they’re ready for sale but we thought we’d give a preview of one of the design options….

Entire Swath catalog (finally) now available on iTunes and other online stores

March 23, 2009

Along with being available in CD format, our new album, “Confluence”, is now available via download at iTunes (U.S. and Canada), Amazon, Napster and Rhapsody.

Our first album, “A Bygone Era” and our first one-song demo, “True Position”, are available, too.

Like every other tune at the stores, pricing should be $0.99 per song (though we hope you’ll download the full albums rather than just single songs since we wrote, recorded and released the tunes a certain way to create a certain whole effect).

It was a lot more of a hassle than we thought to get these up (see Tunecore Trouble post 1 and post 2) but hopefully, having downloads available will be a lot easier for people who want to listen to their favorite Swath right away.

However, if you’re like me and still like the old-fashioned-ness of holding an actual CD with cover art in your hands, please contact us at to place an order.
